An uncoated finish lets the paper's natural texture come through. Woodfree and rough-gloss premium stocks absorb ink well, so stamping and handwriting stay clean.

Natural texture, authentic paper feel
Keep the safety zone at least 3mm (0.12 inch) inside the trim and fold lines on all sides.
It may be better to extend the bleed area more generously.
More is better than less.

You can find more detailed guides on coating, finishing, and other options on the order page.
Go to Order Page →Page positions vary by fold type. For tri-fold, the inner panel needs to be slightly smaller for a clean fold. See the folding guide for detailed page mapping.
Auto-folding is an option you select at order time. Without it, we ship flat. Post-folding is available but only for simple folds. Without prep finishes like scoring, the fold can look rough, and papers above 200gsm tend to crack. For details, please contact us via 1:1 inquiry.
Folding tolerance can run ±1–2mm. This falls within industry standard and isn't grounds for reprint. When designing, keep important elements away from the fold line.
We recommend laminating menus since they get handled a lot. Matte laminate gives a calm look, gloss laminate makes colors pop, and both help prevent stains and warping.
Hole punching is an optional finish. Place the hole at least 5mm inside the paper edge, keep text and logos at least 5mm clear of the hole, and avoid overlapping with the fold line.
Leave at least 3mm of safety margin on either side of the fold line. With folding tolerance of ±1–2mm plus trimming tolerance, text or images can end up on the fold. Also add a 2mm bleed on the outer edges.
Yes — the grain should run parallel to the fold for a clean result. Folding against the grain often causes cracking. For papers 200gsm or heavier, please add the Scoring option at order time to minimize cracking.
Foil and embossing are available, but avoid placing them near fold or trim lines. Keep finishing areas at least 5mm inside the fold and outer edges, and only place them on flat panels so the foil doesn't crack when folded.
Double-sided registration tolerance is around ±1–2mm. Avoid designs that rely on exact alignment between front and back. Also note that thin papers (100gsm or less) show through, so dark colors may be faintly visible from the other side.
