Perfect-bound booklets with adhesive binding. Ideal for theses, reports, and anthologies with more pages.
Perfect binding starts at 12 pages, in multiples of 4. The spine needs enough thickness for the glue to bind properly, which is why there's a minimum.
For perfect binding, we usually use heavier paper for the cover. The cover supports the spine, so strength matters.
Covers are always color. Inner pages must be either all color or all black-and-white — mixing color and B/W per page isn't supported.
All cover finishes are available — matte or gloss laminate, foil, spot UV, and more. Matte laminate has a calm texture, while gloss laminate gives vivid colors.
Spine width depends on paper type and page count. For exact values, use the spine width calculator on the order page.
Thicker spines are more prone to cracking. By the nature of perfect binding, the more pages, the higher the risk — store the book without putting heavy pressure on the spine.
Separate colored inserts aren't supported. Only inside-cover endpapers can be added.
