Keep at least 3mm (0.12 inch) between the trim line and safety zone.
It may be better to extend the bleed area more generously.
More is better than less.
→ Safety zone: 84×44mm (3.31×1.73 inch)
Trimming tolerance may cause uneven white borders.
You can find more detailed guides on coating, finishing, and other options on the order page.
Go to Order Page →The Korean standard is 90×50mm, and the international standard is 85×54mm (credit card size). We recommend 90×50 for domestic use, and 85×54 for international meetings or wallet storage. Except for PET cards, you can also enter a custom size.
Double-sided printing is available, and front-to-back registration tolerance is around ±1mm — within industry standards. If front and back designs need to align precisely, leave at least 3mm of space inside the trim line.
Rounded corners typically use R3 to R5mm. R3 looks soft and natural; R5 looks distinctly rounded. R values other than R3/R5 and special shapes are possible via die-cutting, but at a higher price point than standard rounding.
Business card finishes include foil, embossing, and thermography. Keep all finishes at least 3mm in from the trim line. Too close to the edge, and foil can peel off or embossing can deform. We don't recommend these finishes for small text or thin lines below 1pt.
Gang-Run prints multiple orders together for a lower price, but color can vary by ±5–10%. Dedicated-Run prints alone on the press, with less color variation and on-press review available. If brand color matters, we recommend Dedicated-Run.
Yes, quite a lot. Gloss Coated Paper is shiny with crisp colors; Matte Coated Paper has a calm matte finish; rough-gloss has a slightly textured surface. For premium feel, specialty papers like Rendezvous (Natural) or Stardream are great, and Woodfree works best for writing.
For offset printing, we recommend at least 3.5pt for single-color (spot or black) text, and 6pt for CMYK mixed colors. Actual character size varies by font even at the same point — test small text in advance. Sans-serif (gothic) is safer than thin serif fonts, and 7–8pt is a comfortable size for body text.
Monitors are RGB and print is CMYK, so color differences occur. Fluorescent colors and high-saturation blues are especially hard to reproduce. For accurate color, order Dedicated-Run with on-press review. Gang-Run doesn't support review.
Matte laminate is calm and resists fingerprints; gloss laminate has vivid colors and shines. Both protect against wear and fading. We recommend laminate for cards you exchange often.
Without coating, frequent handling can wear down the corners and cause color loss. Combining laminate with rounded corners reduces wear noticeably. Thicker paper (280gsm or above) also deforms less.
Standard paper typically runs 250–300gsm, and specialty paper 250–350gsm. Anything 350gsm or higher falls into our Extra Premium lineup, with a substantial weight and premium feel. Thicker paper costs more accordingly.
The trim line is the finished size (e.g., 90×50mm), and the design size adds 1mm on each side (92×52mm). Place important elements like text and logos at least 3mm inside the trim line (the safety zone).
